Overview

Integrated substation packages reduce site work, interfaces and commissioning time. The transformer, switchgear, LV distribution, protection and auxiliaries are assembled and tested at the factory and delivered as one or a few modules.

Typical scope

  • Compact kiosk substations for distribution networks
  • Containerised E-houses with HVAC, fire detection and cable management
  • Primary substation equipment packages with protection and SCADA interface
  • Design coordination for civil interfaces and earthing

How a package project runs

  1. Requirement and single-line review with the customer and the manufacturer
  2. Agreement of equipment list, layout and interface drawings
  3. Factory assembly, factory acceptance test (customer witnessing optional)
  4. Shipping, site delivery and support during installation and commissioning

Scope, ratings and certification routes are agreed per project. The manufacturer’s role (equipment supply, package integration or engineering) must be confirmed for each case.

Typical applications

  • Compact substations for distribution and renewable plants
  • E-houses for industrial sites and mines
  • Turnkey primary substation equipment packages
  • Temporary and mobile substations
